David Cristofaro

The Cristofaro family couldn't keep a working flashlight around the house while Dave was growing up; Dave would take them apart as quickly as his parents purchased new ones. This non-stop curiosity about how things work and what makes them tick has propelled Dave throughout his professional career, but his focus has changed; from flashlights to markets and people.

Dave has accomplished a great deal in his 20 year professional career, with nearly _ being spent in start-up and entrepreneurial ventures:

  • — Founded a successful marketing research practice serving the medical and IT business verticals, serving powerhouses such as Adobe Systems, Medtronic, Boston Scientific, Motorola and others.
  • — Participated in the genesis of a new general surgery division of Boston Scientific in the early 90s, with responsibilities including sales and product management.
  • — Was the second employee hired and opened the west coast region of Lanier Professional services, creating a $2 million revenue stream in its first 18 months of tenure.
  • — Consistently achieved top 5% in the nation as a representative at Lanier and achieving number two and number one rankings in the nation in consecutive years (out of 80 districts).

Dave currently is CEO and Founder of Actionable Research, a primary marketing research firm specializing in medical and healthcare, IT, franchises and online businesses. Innovative segmentation schemes, creative, effective ways to measure brand dimensions and time-tested customer loyalty methods have made their ways into marketing powerhouses such as Boston Scientific Corporation, IBM, Motorola, Adobe Systems and Avid Technology.

It is easy to trace where Dave received his industry knowledge and experience. Following tenure with Lanier Professional services, Dave also achieved results for Boston Scientific Corporation and Interliant, one of the first Application Hosting Providers, which became a public corporation while he was there in 1999.

Early in Dave's career in sales at Lanier, Dave developed skills understanding his customers that led him to finishing in the top 5% of the national sales team 2 years in a row, and number two and one in the nation out of 80 districts as a district sales manager.

Dave received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from University of California, Los Angeles.
